Naperville Noon Lions Turkey Trot 5K

For more than 23 years, the Naperville Noon Lions Turkey Trot 5K has welcomed citizens of Naperville and area communities as they join with their friends and families to enjoy a little exercise before celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday. You are important to us, and we will share our decision regarding the 2020 race as soon as we can.

Due to public health risks brought on by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic we are unable to say definitively whether or not the race will proceed and we want you to know that we are preparing for both outcomes. We’re continuing our preparations for the event with the goal of providing a safe race experience, including working with city officials to align our preparations with their current guidelines and re-opening framework.

Work is being done every day knowing that external factors could mean that we cannot safely hold the race. In addition, we’re also working to ensure that in the event of a cancellation, we are able to provide you with a virtual option so that you can participate on your course at your time, knowing you will help Naperville children and seniors receive the hearing and vision care they cannot afford.

You are the reason the Naperville Noon Lions has been able to help over 4,000 children and families in Naperville with vision and hearing care and diabetes support since our first run in 1998.  Join us again this year and be part of Naperville’s Thanksgiving tradition. Run or walk the fast flat course through downtown Naperville. Register early to avoid disappointment. Registration limited to 7,500 – the race has sold out every year for the past 7 years.
